I've been getting a number of requests for PHP developers lately.  Here is a summary. If anything strikes your fancy reply to me and I'll get you the rest of the details.

1.) Drupal 7 developer for a 20-30 hour project for a non-profit. "One of the deliverables from this project was a simple website with Drupal 7, we got it built with a internal resource with very limited Drupal skills -- but it still needs some help. It will probably need about 20-30 hrs of additional work..."

2.) "I have a position in Florida for a PHP developer...3-6 month contract; do you know of anyone that may be interested? I can send you the description if you'd like!"

3.) This is the general information-there are multiple positions open so we can look at more Jr and more SR level candidates in different salary ranges..

Work with senior programmers on our social platform and analytics engine using PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• Work as a team member on large projects, understanding how a team operates and what is expected of the various roles on the project. This includes the ability to take direction and knowing when to ask for help.
• Rapidly produce interim deliverables (such as style prototypes, technical proofs of concept, etc.)
• Take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies.
• Follow and promote best programming practices and current web standards.

Qualifications:

2-4 years experience developing PHP applications.

• Familiar with object oriented programming, including MVC concepts.
• SQL database experience (PostgreSQL a plus).
• General knowledge about HTML/CSS.
• Knowledge about JavaScript. jQuery experience a big plus.
• Comfortable with command-line interfaces
• Experience with Smarty template engine helpful.
• MongoDB/NoSQL experience a plus.
• Familiarity with 3rd party (Facebook/twitter/etc) APIs a plus.
